Laughter is my signal
Mirth, joy, laughter, tricks, pranks
Always wearing a smile
Being nimble and quick
That is who I am

I sit calmly in my corner
A book in my hand and a cup of tea in the other
I hold my sweetheart tight in times of tears
Always holding my arms open for those in need
Warmth and kindness is my gift

I watch the field with expertise
Calculate my moves, try to figure out my opponent's
I play the game, sometimes even by the rules
I can never turn down a challenge
Playing fair doesn't always mean playing nice

I am the  one who messes up your mind
I let my hand slightly touch your shoulder as I pass by
Stare deep into your eyes, touch you lightly, kiss you teasingly
I play around with your heart
And I fear nothing

As soon as one wound heals another is cut open
It hurts, my gods it hurts
I can't breathe, why can't I breathe?
Somebody, anybody make it STOP
Tears and sobs silently ring in the night

Hurt anyone I love
I dare you
I am the guardian and fighter
Followed by a red trail
But the blood is not my own

I am the base
I am none and everyone of these
Lead down a confusing path
And in the end
I am the one who always pays the price
